The challenge here was that the property had exceptionally large rooms and the client wanted to embrace that without losing warmth or personality in the spaces.
We sourced interesting furnishings and artwork which would work with the scale of the property. The drawing room was long and narrow and so we created two distinct seating areas, one for large scale entertaining at one end and a smaller area around the fireplace at the other end of the room for a more cosy family setting. We designed and built the maple kitchen incorporating a smaller family walnut dining table and a coordinating desk. The vibrant colours used here ensured the large room still feels warm and family friendly.
